Slovenia: Industrial production falls in August
Latest reading: Industrial production was down 0.1% on a year-on-year basis in August, following 0.5% growth in the prior month.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, readings in August worsened for mining and quarrying (0.0% yoy vs +4.8% in July) and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-18.0% vs -0.3% in July). In contrast, the reading for manufacturing improved in August (+1.8% vs +0.5% in July).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was down 0.6% in August, following a 1.6% rise in the previous month.
