Poland: Inflation rises in June
Latest reading: Inflation came in at 4.1% in June, above May’s 4.0% and the 3.5% upper bound of the Central Bank’s target range. The uptick was largely due to a softer fall in transport costs compared to the prior month. Meanwhile, price pressures for food and energy softened.
Annual average inflation rose to 4.6% in June from 4.5% in May.
Finally, consumer prices increased 0.10% month on month in June after having fallen 0.20% in May.
