Latest reading: Economic sentiment declined to 103.2 in September, following August’s 103.4.
In September, sentiment eased in the construction sector (+1.2 vs +5.7 in August), the services sector (+10.8 vs +12.4 in August) and the retail sector (+7.7 vs +11.3 in August). In contrast, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (-0.4 vs -1.1 in August) and among consumers (-19.9 vs -21.4 in August).
