Latest reading: Economic sentiment fell to 101.8 in September, following August’s 103.3.
In September, sentiment worsened in the industrial sector (-8.5 vs -7.3 in August) and the services sector (+5.7 vs +9.6 in August). However, sentiment improved in the construction sector (-13.4 vs -14.5 in August), the retail sector (+4.7 vs +2.6 in August) and among consumers (+2.3 vs +1.7 in August).
