Cyprus: Economic sentiment rises in October
Latest reading: Economic sentiment rose to 106.3 in October, following September’s 105.4 and thus remaining above the long-term average of 100.
In October, sentiment improved in the construction sector (+10.7 vs +5.1 in September) and the services sector (+11.8 vs +3.6 in September). On the flipside, sentiment darkened in the industrial sector (+2.8 vs +4.6 in September), the retail sector (+0.3 vs +4.3 in September) and among consumers (-15.8 vs -12.2 in September).
