SimCorp has announced that it is integrating LSEG’s Yield Book into its Axioma Risk analytics suite, allowing asset managers to access more comprehensive data for evaluating securitized debt. Enhanced forecasting tools will be available to clients, but market fluctuations continue to introduce uncertainty in fixed income investments.

Yield Book’s prepayment models will now be incorporated into SimCorp users’ workflows because analyzing mortgage-backed securities and structured products requires accuracy. Expanding Axioma Risk’s coverage provides institutional investors with deeper insights into structured debt instruments. As regulatory pressures increase the need for precise risk management, financial firms are implementing data-driven methodologies. Factor-based risk decomposition and stress testing across various economic scenarios are among the key capabilities Yield Book’s analytics offer.

The integration eliminates the need for external platforms for fixed income risk assessments, as SimCorp has confirmed that clients can now incorporate these models directly into their investment processes. “This partnership extends the depth of our fixed income capabilities, and Yield Book’s market-renowned prepayment models and analytics now integrate directly into our products to support the most sophisticated fixed income and multi-asset managers,” said Allen Zimmerman, Managing Director and Head of Americas at SimCorp.

LSEG has stated that the integration strengthens risk forecasting capabilities. “We are delighted to broaden LSEG’s partnership with SimCorp because the integration of Yield Book’s fixed income analytics with Axioma Risk enables more clients to access market-leading data, analytics, and risk management tools at their fingertips,” said Emily Prince, Group Head of Analytics at LSEG.

Investment firms increasingly rely on quantitative models, but not all analytics platforms provide the necessary depth for structured debt instruments. SimCorp has emphasized that this integration ensures risk managers access high-quality data without manual input of additional variables to model fixed income exposures accurately.

Founded in 1971, SimCorp specializes in investment management technology, while its flagship platform, SimCorp Dimension, supports asset managers, pension funds, and insurers. Operating across five continents, the company continuously evolves its software solutions to meet financial industry demands. LSEG provides financial markets infrastructure, and its Data & Analytics division remains central to its services. Recognized for its expertise in fixed income analytics, Yield Book powers investment strategies for banks, asset managers, and insurance firms globally. By partnering with SimCorp, LSEG expands its risk management solutions, giving institutional clients access to more sophisticated modeling tools.
