Monark has announced a strategic distribution partnership with ViewTrade to expand access to private markets for broker-dealers and wealth platforms using embedded APIs.
The collaboration integrates Monark’s Alts-as-a-Service infrastructure into ViewTrade’s existing investment platform, creating a unified solution for alternative assets within more than 300 financial firms across 30 countries.
The agreement combines Monark’s API capabilities with ViewTrade’s proprietary investment technology, giving end clients access to private investments such as pre-IPO shares and other alternatives without leaving their existing accounts.

The initial phase focuses on the pre-IPO segment of the alternative assets space, targeting a $4 trillion market that includes companies such as SpaceX, OpenAI, Perplexity, Epic Games, and Anduril. These investments, once reserved primarily for institutions, will now become available to a broader base of investors through ViewTrade’s platform integration.

Monark handles the backend complexities, such as allocation sourcing, due diligence, and SPV structuring, to allow for a “click-to-invest” experience. This process enables users to access private investments directly without needing new accounts or fund transfers, maintaining continuity in the user interface provided by ViewTrade.
The integration is expected to go live in the second quarter of 2025, with access to pre-IPO shares for eligible ViewTrade clients. Following this rollout, the offering will gradually include other private market assets such as private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and even professional sports team investments.
