CUBE has opened its new global headquarters at Tower 42 in the City of London, including a dedicated AI Centre of Excellence and a commitment to create 200 new jobs. The expansion follows a year of rapid growth, with revenue and headcount more than doubling.

The headquarters includes the RegBrain AI Lab, which will lead research and development into artificial intelligence applications in regulatory intelligence and compliance. CUBE stated that the new facilities, including the RegTheatre and RegCinema, will be accessible to clients and partners, supporting collaboration on technological innovation and regulatory change management.

“London is unquestionably a world-class tech hub and a global leader for AI and innovation”

Ben Richmond, Founder and CEO of CUBE, commented, “We chose an iconic City of London location for our new global headquarters as we believe it’s the perfect place to continue CUBE’s growth. London is unquestionably a world-class tech hub and a global leader for AI and innovation. We’re proud to further build out our global operations and investment from the UK and aim to be a benchmark for building successful global tech businesses here. Our performance in the last year highlights the progress we have made so far.”

Over the past 12 months, CUBE reported a 200 percent increase in revenue, completed two acquisitions in the U.S., and expanded to 20 countries. The company now employs 700 people globally and serves 1,000 customers, including large financial institutions using its Automated Regulatory Intelligence (ARI) and Regulatory Change Management (RCM) platform.

The company also launched RegPlatform Intel, a compliance tool targeted at mid-market financial firms dealing with frequent regulatory updates across jurisdictions.

Richmond added, “We’ve experienced considerable growth over the past year and we wanted a global HQ that reflects the ambition and scale of our expanding team. We want to reimagine the future of work and how we collaborate with customers, which is why we created a space that fosters partnership and drives continuous technological innovation. Our new AI Centre of Excellence – RegBrain AI Lab – will be at the forefront of AI innovation. We will continue to deliver smart, agile solutions for our customers in response to the rapid pace of global regulatory change.”

The announcement comes after CUBE strengthened its position through a strategic partnership with Hg, a software investor focused on European and transatlantic markets. The company said its investment in the London headquarters reflects long-term confidence in the UK’s role as a center for regulatory technology and financial services.

The new headquarters will also serve as a venue for industry engagement. CUBE’s clients will have access to the RegBrain AI Lab and on-site facilities designed to support the exchange of ideas across compliance, technology, and risk teams.

Founded in 2011, CUBE has developed regulatory intelligence solutions that aggregate and standardize compliance content from global regulators. Its technology is used by financial institutions to manage the complexity of global compliance obligations across different jurisdictions and regulatory regimes.
