Broadridge Financial Solutions has launched an interactive tool that provides public access to its Investor Pulse data. The platform offers insight into the investment behavior of nearly 50 million U.S. retail investors and introduces a new personal rate of return metric.

Investor Pulse tracks taxable and IRA accounts, delivering a detailed view of retail investment trends. The new tool allows asset managers, financial advisors, and individual investors to analyze demographic segments and benchmark performance against peer groups.

“Democratizing access to investment insights”

Dan Cwenar, Head of Broadridge Data and Analytics, commented, “Broadridge is committed to democratizing access to investment insights. Our interactive Investor Pulse site and the introduction of personal rates of return provide financial professionals with a deeper understanding of retail investor behavior.”

The platform includes filters for region, age, gender, and education level, enabling users to examine investment patterns with precision. The latest data reveals that advice-driven investors held double the assets of their self-directed counterparts, while personal rates of return varied based on portfolio composition.

Broadridge has positioned Investor Pulse as a resource for financial professionals seeking to refine investment strategies. The firm continues to expand its data analytics capabilities, providing technology-driven solutions that support financial decision-making.

The implementation of Broadridge’s Shareholder Disclosure Hub, an API-based solution, enables Nordnet to handle shareholder identification requests with efficiency and security. Live processing has been in effect since September 2024, allowing Nordnet to meet SRDII requirements while ensuring seamless data protection across its European operations.

BNP Paribas’ Securities Services business, which holds $13.7 trillion in assets under custody, selected Broadridge Financial Solutions to enhance its global securities class action services. The partnership expands BNP Paribas’ asset recovery capabilities by integrating Broadridge’s proprietary technology, which automates the process of identifying, filing, and recovering investment losses.

Securities class actions have expanded significantly across jurisdictions, with more than 35 markets adopting collective redress mechanisms for shareholders. BNP Paribas cites data showing that in 2024 alone, over 125 recovery opportunities emerged, resulting in $5.2 billion in settlements.

Navigating complex litigation environments in multiple jurisdictions requires technology-driven solutions and deep industry expertise. BNP Paribas found that Broadridge’s dedicated global class action team includes securities litigators, claims administrators, auditors, and data specialists who provide portfolio monitoring, claims filing, and registration services across global markets.
